Our social commitment
Throughout 2024, we carried out multiple initiatives with support from CaixaBank Group volunteers and/or social organisations.
Connected to the Neighbourhood
We commit to social progress and personal well-being. To this end, we set up partnerships with social entities that share our values of sustainable development and environmental preservation. Through the Connected to the Neighbourhood initiative, we identify the social entities of the neighbourhoods closest to our branches. We carry out activities and programmes with them.
Connected to the Neighbourhood and Connected to CPC: the social commitment of CaixaBank Payments & Consumer
At CaixaBank Payments & Consumer, we strongly believe in the power of connection. That is why we have launched the “Connected to the Neighbourhood” and “Connected to CPC” initiatives. These aim to bring our corporate buildings and teams closer to the reality of the most vulnerable people in our communities.
These initiatives have a clear purpose: to build bridges between our employees and the social organisations, foundations, and NGOs working nearby. Or with a special connection to our teams, whether through family ties or involvement in volunteer activities.
Through these connections, we support these organisations. We provide the backing of the CaixaBank Group by actively participating in charity campaigns like El Árbol de los Sueños, ReUtilízame, and others. In addition, we jointly develop activities and actions that create a real positive impact in the community.
Because when we connect with the neighbourhood, we connect with what truly matters.
Solidarity Formula Programme
“Fórmula Solidaria” is an initiative by CaixaBank and CaixaBank Payments & Consumer. It channels financial support from the “la Caixa” Foundation and companies committed to helping the most vulnerable. The Solidarity Formula aims to help make the projects of the beneficiary entities a reality.
In concert with our partners, in 2024 we benefited more than 70 organisations. Their projects totalled over €1.8 million. These aimed at supporting vulnerable groups and those at risk of social exclusion.
